Find your tote package
Short answer: answer a few quick questions and we'll estimate how many 3.6-cubic-foot totes your move needs, then recommend the cheapest package mix for the weeks you need them. It takes about a minute.
How the estimate works
- Home size sets the starting point: about 20 totes for a one-bedroom, 30 for two bedrooms, 42 for three and 54 for four. Houses get 15% more than apartments of the same size.
- People and fullness adjust it: a packed home with five people can need nearly twice what a minimal one-person home does.
- Extras add totes: a garage adds about 12, a home office or big book collection about 6.
- Cheapest mix wins: we price every package plus up to one extra 10-pack ($25/week) for your weeks, and show the lowest total. Bigger moves start from the 80-tote package.
Questions about the finder
How does the package finder estimate how many totes I need?
It starts from a typical count for your home size, adjusts for how many people live there and how full the home is, then adds totes for things like a garage, home office or big book collection. It then compares each package, plus at most one extra 10-pack (more only on top of the largest package), for the number of weeks you need, and recommends the cheapest mix that covers your estimate.
What if I run out of totes?
Text us. Extra 10-packs are $25 a week and we can usually bring them the same or next day.
Is the estimate a binding quote?
No. It's a guide. You only pay for the package you book, and you can add or change totes anytime.
