How does the student discount work?
Request online
Tick “I'm a college student” on the request form and pick your school. Nothing is charged yet.
We call to confirm
We check tote availability for your dates and text you a secure payment link with the 15% off applied.
Show your ID at delivery
Clean totes, lids, labels and a dolly arrive at your dorm, apartment or family's home.
We pick up the empty totes
Unpack, stack the empty totes and text us. We collect them, so there's no cardboard to haul to the dumpster.
Why do totes work better than boxes for dorm moves?
Dorm moves mean stairs, long hallways and shared elevators on the busiest day of the year. Totes stack on a dolly, snap shut and don't collapse when they're carried in a crowd.
You also skip the hunt for boxes, the tape and the flattening afterward. When you're unpacked, stack the empty totes and we collect them.
- Lids snap on, so nothing spills on the stairs or in the car.
- Same size every time, so they stack in a car trunk or an SUV.
- No cardboard to break down in a crowded dumpster area.
- Delivery to your family's home and pickup at your dorm works too.
College student questions
Who gets the student discount?
Any college or university student with a valid student ID gets 15% off the rental and extra weeks, at any school, not only the ones listed here.
How do I prove I'm a student?
Show your student ID at delivery, or text us a photo of it after our confirmation call. A parent can book for you; the student's ID is what counts.
Does it combine with other discounts?
No. The student discount and referral codes don't stack. We apply whichever saves you more.
Can you deliver to a residence hall?
Yes, to the address you give us, as long as the hall allows deliveries. Check your school's move-in rules: some halls set unloading times or don't allow early drop-offs.
Do you move my things for me?
No. We're not movers. We drop off empty totes and collect them empty afterward; you or your family pack and carry them.
